The chakra of the heart, is where our true self, the Spirit (Atman) resides . It is pure attention (chit), pure joy (Ananda) and pure truth/existence (Sat). The spirit is eternally pure, unaffected by ego, conditionings or actions. After Self Realization, our attention start merging with our Spirit. Gradually, our old misidentifications with our ego or conditionings drop and we start becoming one with our Spirit. The heart chakra manifests compassion, love, sense of responsibility and joy. The center of the chakra also gives us complete security and confidence. Worries, doubts and fears are destroyed when the heart chakra is fully enlightened by the Kundalini.
